Most of my writing is in Danish. To give English speakers an idea of my work some summaries of articles and a few translated articles are avaible here.

For the moment most of my articles deals with current and historical issues of the Danish military, where I work. Earlier I wrote a few scientific articles about religion seen in a sociological perspective.

Conversion and Prayer
This article deals with the charismatic protestant Free Church in Denmark, "Kristent Centrum" . It describes the organization of "Kristent Centrum" and the importance of healing in the Free Church, and it compares "Kristent Centrum” with the healing-groups in Meredith B. McGuires study Ritual Healing in Suburban America.
Danish Volunteers in the Russian Civil War
Did you know that a motley handful of Danish volunteers was one of the Estonian Liberation Armys strongest units. A diary found in the State Record Office tells the story of the last campaign of a Danish Machine Gun company in the border area between Estonia and Russia in 1919.

This article deals with secularization and christian social work. It is a study of how the parish based social work in Sct. John Parish in Aarhus has been influenced by the secularization process in Denmark.
The Espingol - The Secret Weapon of 19th Century Denmark
During the two Slesvig wars of 1848-1850 and 1864, the Danish army employed a primitive automatic weapon and forerunner of the machine gun, the so-called "Espingol." It is unknown if this weapon ever received a different name in English. The espingol employed a unique form of rapid fire, and its magazine was muzzle loaded.
